Voi Safari Lodge is perched on a cliff-faced hill overlooking three (man made) waterholes and the rolling plains of Kenya's, Tsavo East National Park. You can see as far as the plateau of Yatta. We stayed one night in 2002 at that time all 50 odd rooms were en suite. There is an unheated (cool) swimming pool and game viewing terrace and tunnel.
There is nothing to stop wildlife 'visiting' the lodge as there isn't a fence around it - you really do feel like you are on safari here! The views from Voi Safari Lodge viewing platform are just totally amazing. You can see for miles and miles across the plains and with a good pair of binoculars you can really pick out the animals. The viewing tunnel is right next door to the water hole. The elephants in particular and just amazing when splashing around. |

The lodge actually overhangs the cliff so the views are totally un-obstructed. Elephants and other smaller herbivores can be observed coming in to slake their thirst, even from some of the rooms.
